What is a Virtual Airline?

A Virtual Airline (VA) is a member-driven group which aims to simulate the flights and operations of an airline, charter operation or flying club. Some may be based off real world companies while others are fictional. The route structure of virtual airlines may be regional, national, continental, or global.

Can I transfer previous VA hours to Scoot Virtual?

No we don't accept any transfer hours. Everyone at Scoot Virtual has started their career from the beginning. Our Ranks are not type rated allowing you to fly all available aircraft.

When did Scoot Virtual open?

Scoot Virtual opened on the 30th of August, 2016.

How do I file a Pirep?

Scoot Virtual has its own customized acars system we like to call "ScootVCars". The software is developed by friends at TFDi. You can download the software in the downloads section. We still incorporate a manual pirep system for charter flights etc.

How do I register as a pilot for Scoot Virtual?

How do I become a staff member?

Staff vacancies will be advertised as required on the Join Us page. Members will also receive notifications of vacancies through their respective pilot center.

I might not be able to complete a flight for a while, what can I do?

We understand life has to come first. We ask that you submit a leave of abscence from your Pilot Center - Once received we will ensure your pilot profile is kept on our system.

I completed a flight and haven't been issued the eligible award?

Contact a member of staff or leave a request in the forum. If your completing a flight that is eligible for an award please leave a remark in your comments section when reporting.

Are Scoot Virtual using the real Scoot and Value Alliance schedules?

Yes, our schedules are updated when required and mirror the real schedules.
